There is The Axumite kingdom that was a strong and powerful civilization back in the ancient times. It has left us amazing ruins to look at and study. Even many religious civilizations flourished back in the Middle Ages in Ethiopia. It even shows off brilliant castle ruins from long ago too, showing off great architectural skills at the same time. Ethiopia is also humankind's earliest known home. The skeleton known to most as "Lucy" was found in the Afar region in 1974. She was approximated to have lived 3.5 million years ago.
